Fall 2008 Registration is Now On

• Starting this fall, we register one school year (2 semesters) for Chinese courses and allow people to have the option to register 1 or 2 semesters for selective classes.  If a course is registered for two semesters, it charges two terms tuition for the course and the same registered course carries over to the next semester. 
• If a student registers all classes for two semesters and makes no change in the next Spring semester, there will be no registration fee for the Spring semester.  It, however, will charge a registration fee if any change is made in the Spring semester.
• Registration fee $20 is not refundable.
• If a class is dropped before each semester class drop deadline (usually two weeks after the school semester starts), full class tuition for that semester is refunded.  Therefore, for any class registered for the whole year, if it is cancelled before the Spring class cancel refund deadline, one semester tuition is credited back.
• Starting fall 2008, each class starts on the beginning of each hour instead of half of each hour.  The first morning class starts on 10:00AM.
• To reserve your registration, please send in payment within 2 weeks (based on US postage date).
• Late Payment Penalty - If the tuition is not paid within 2 weeks after the school semester start date, or 2 weeks after the registration date (whichever date comes later will be used to determine the penalty).

• 现在进行2008年秋季注册
• 今年秋季开始，我们对中文课一次注册一个学年（二个学期），其它课可选注一学期或二学期。对 注册一个学年的课收取二学期的学费，相同的课程将继续到下一学期。如在春季学期没有注课变化，春季学期不再收取注册费。但如在春季学期改变注册课程，仍将收取注册费。
• 注册费$20是不可退款的。
• 如在每学期退课截止日前（通常是学期开学两周后）取消注册课程，不收学费。所以，对一门注册一个学年的课程，如在春季学期退课截止日前退课，学校将退该课一学期学费。
• 从2008年秋季每节课从整点开始，而不是从半点开始。早晨第一节课开始时间是10点。
   
• 为保留你的注册位子，请于注册两周内付清学费(若邮寄以邮戳日期为准）。
   
• 迟付费罚款：如果未能在学期开学后2周内，或注册2周内(以较晚的日期为准)付清学费，需要加付所欠学费的10%作为罚款。

Ray Chinese School is a Naperville Community Chinese School. It is a non-profit organization registered with the state government of Illinois, USA. The mission of the school is to enrich school children's multicultural experiences by the teaching of Chinese language and cultural inheritance such as Chinese literature, painting, dancing, music, chess and martial arts. It also serves the western suburbs of Chicago by organizing cultural exchanges, sports and other social activities for students, their parents and other members of the community.
