Qiu Yue Jin has been dancing all of her life. At the age
of 11, she was accepted into the Chinese National Performance Academy. Among her
achievements was being awarded the highest prize by the Chinese National Dancer's
Association. During her career as a teacher, several of her students have also won
national and international dance awards. Currently, Qiu Yue Jin is a Director of the
Yellow River Dance Performance Group. The group has presented dance performances at public
schools in Chicago, Union Center and in Chinatown.
